Russia Develops First ‘Coronavirus Vaccine’

The world could seemingly have a sigh of relief after Russia has announced that it has developed the very first Coronavirus Vaccine according to the President, Vladimir Putin.

“This morning, for the first time in the world, a vaccine against the new coronavirus was registered” in Russia, he said during a televised video conference call with government ministers.

“One of my daughters had this vaccine. I think in this sense she took part in the experiment,” Putin added.

This puts Russia ahead of different countries that have been working round the clock to develop a coronavirus vaccine in hope, by September; a sustainable solution to this deadly virus would be availed.

The World Health Organization, however, urged Russia last week, to follow established guidelines and go through all the stages necessary to develop a safe vaccine.

The Coronavirus has killed over 730,000 people and infected over 20 million more all around the world.
