Contestant number 22 “Oliver Nakakande” was last night crowned as the new Miss Uganda at the grand finale held from Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Nakakande will fill the steps of Quinn Abenakyo, the Miss Uganda 2018/19 who also doubles as Miss World Africa.
At the fun filled but intense night for contestants and their supporters, there were entertainment performances from artistes like Grenade,Myco Ouma and Jose Sax who helped keep the intensity at par with their electrifying acts up-to the final announcement of the winner “Oliver Nakakande”
Nakakande was crowned by her predecessor Quinn Abenakyo together with the reigning Miss World “Vanessa Ponce” who was invited as the guest of honor. Oliver Nakakande also received her brand new Miss Uganda branded Toyota Wish and will represent Uganda in the Miss World Contestants.
