Two staff members from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretariat have tested positive for Coronavirus according to Kasule Lumumba, the party Secretary General.
“This morning, two of our key staff at the National Resistance Movement(NRM) party secretariat tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted to the hospital for proper care.” Lumumba said.
“We are working with the technical people and further guidance will be given in due course. I urge everyone to stay alert, healthy, and safe,” she added
This was revealed today, just days after President Yoweri Museveni undertook a test which came out negative.
According to President Museveni, he took the test because he had developed flu-like symptoms which prompted him to undertake the test.
“I apologize for the hoarse voice, I had some sore throat. My first fear was that I had got coronavirus, so I called the doctors to take a sample,” President said Tuesday
