2021 Presidential candidate, Retired Gen. Henry Tumukunde has launched his pressure group called “Kisoboka” ahead of the 2021 elections.
Speaking at the launch of this pressure group, Tumukunde revealed that the orange colour, which is the group’s official color, represents revolution in Uganda.
“I once used this same colour when I formed the Progressive Party. It is a colour of revolution and that’s why we chose it,” Tumukunde said.
Kisoboka Pressure Group’s slogan is “A Renewed Uganda” which Gen Tumukunde says was chosen deliberately.
“I don’t want to be part of those who think that nothing has been done. I believe that something has already been done but the country lost direction and we are here to renew the country’s purpose,” he said.
Gen Tumukunde further says that his new pressure group will focus on youth who, according to him, are the majority in the country.
